### Responsibilities This FACILITIES ENGINEER will be located in our Plant 4 and will be responsible for plant equipment and building maintenance as well as project planning and implementation, plant equipment layouts, and troubleshooting equipment problems for assigned plants within one or more facilities. Develops, trains and motivates; make job assignments, and follows contract and/or company policies. - Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. - Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. - Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications. - Oversees maintenance of facility and equipment. - Performs equipment and project design. - Plans and supervises project work. - Provides manufacturing support to business centers. - Performs cost estimating. - Troubleshoots equipment. - Initiates purchase for equipment and maintenance supplies. - Reports on maintenance and engineering activities to management. ### Qualifications BASIC REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution - Previous relevant experience in maintenance/facilities or engineering in a manufacturing or industrial setting - Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. - Good understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic and their relationship to electrical control. - Good understanding of chemical cleaning processes and chemical waste disposal. - Good mechanical aptitude (piping, layouts, structural, etc.) and blueprint reading capabilities. - Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodics, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills. - Past experience with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works with strong attention to details - Previous experience with managing projects and working with outside contractors. - Good work ethic and adherence to safety protocols and culture - Knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD. - Able to work in a self-directed or team environment and have good organizations skills. - Ability to work independently and with initiative. - Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude. ### About the Company Howmet Aerospace Inc.
