You must live within commuting distance of downtown Columbus, OH. Organization Summary FCDC provides cost-effective, business-driven, collaborative, and secure IT services and solutions to public service agencies throughout Ohio’s most dynamic county. Our goals are simple but expansive: to be the most trusted enterprise technology service provider for Franklin County and a national leader in digital government services. Every day the FCDC team empowers local government departments, agencies, teams, and nonprofits to deliver top-notch services to residents and businesses in central Ohio, and we take pride in the work they accomplish with our support. ## Job Summary Endpoint Engineers play a critical role in architecting and caring for the digital experience of Franklin County employees. They continuously research, design, deploy, administer, monitor, and collaboratively support complex end user hardware-and-software solutions (endpoints) that put the power of modern technologies into the hands of thousands of colleagues every day, each of whom plays a role in delivering vital public services to central Ohio residents. Our best Endpoint Engineers think deeply about how our end users experience their PCs, smartphones, and other tech at their fingertips—not just how those devices are configured technically. Our Engineers manage endpoint features and lifecycles with tools like Microsoft Intune, but the “north star” for this role is to continuously answer this question: Does this technology make someone's workday easier, faster, and less frustrating? If you believe Microsoft, Apple, and Google products—out of the box—are just not ready for normal users, and you’re ready to actively partner with our Help Desk team, our Security team, and our customers to build a better user experience, then this is the job for you. This is the “it just works” team, ensuring our public servants get trustworthy digital Swiss Army knives they can use intuitively anywhere, anytime. | Position Details | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Title | Endpoint Engineer 1 | Endpoint Engineer 2 | Endpoint Engineer 3 | | Role Summary | Supporter | Administrator | Architect / Project Manager / Mentor | ## Requirements ## Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, Endpoint Engineers must be able to carry out each essential duty in a reliable and user-focused manner.
