Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB/MySQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure development practices remain current

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development
• At least 5 years of full-time experience working with the MERN stack
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience with front-end development using React.js, including state management libraries like Redux
• Strong understanding of Node.js and Express.js for server-side development
• Experience working with MongoDB/MySQL and designing NoSQL/SQL databases
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSocket
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token (JWT)
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Completed a full-time minimum 4-year course in a relevant field
