Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Lead Developer with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Python, modern web frameworks, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and database design, and will lead a small development team while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications
  • Lead a team of developers by providing technical guidance and code reviews
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
  • Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code following coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best coding practices
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in Python development
  • Strong proficiency in Python 3.x
  • Experience with Django and/or FastAPI or Flask
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Good knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis
  • Strong understanding of Git version control
  • Experience with Docker and containerization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Good understanding of software design patterns
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
