Our technical specialization in the field of automotive Ethernet and ECU development enables us to offer technical solutions on topics such as embedded ECUs, on-board networks, ADAS, security, body function, comfort function, gateway and many more.
We are currently offering you a position as a
FPGA Developer (m/f/d)
in Munich
Your tasks with the team:
- Design, develop, and simulate FPGA modules, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability
- Implement FPGA firmware for in-house hardware designs, following best practices for maintainability and scalability
- Contribute to the development of FPGA-based assemblies, including component selection and evaluation, schematic design and review, and definition and validation of layout constraints
- Collaborate across disciplines (hardware, software, and system engineering) to integrate and validate assemblies and FPGA configurations
- Perform system-level testing, debugging, and optimization of FPGA designs and hardware platforms
- Ensure compliance with defined development processes, covering module specification, architecture design, implementation, verification, integration, and review
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation for developed modules, interfaces, and test procedures
- Support continuous improvement of design methodologies, workflows, and verification strategies
We would be delighted if you bring the following with you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and programming
- Experience with Altera or Xilinx FPGA devices and related tools (Quartus or Vivado)
- Proficiency in VHDL
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with simulation tools such as ModelSim (or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of FPGA design flows, including synthesis, place & route, timing closure, and debugging
- Experience with debugging tools such as logic analyzers (e.g., SignalTap, Chipscope/ILA)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team
- Good communication skills and a structured, process-oriented way of working
- Fluent English required
