Job Description
Location: Eindhoven, Eindhoven University of Technology campus
Hours per week: Full-time [36-40h]
Education & experience level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree | Computer Science or comparative
Wolfpack is definitely not an average software agency. Located in the beating technological heart of innovation—the TU/e Campus in Eindhoven—we are a high-end software development and data solutions agency. We don’t just write code; we build the technical engine driving complex innovations in Healthcare, Education, and Industry.
"We are a Pack of Hungry Creators." We build innovative, intuitive IT solutions that give our clients complete control over their digital transformation. Our job is done when our clients' business goals are fully realized.
We work with the brightest, most talented professionals. Within the 'Pack,' you will find a rock solid culture of close collaboration, active knowledge sharing, continuous personal growth and a deep-rooted pride in the products we deliver. We don’t just develop software, we ensure it integrates flawlessly into our client’s wider IT ecosystems.
Our Frontenders create the visual and interactive frontend of complex, innovative IT solutions that put clients ahead and in control of their digital transformation.
As a Frontend Developer, you will collaborate with fellow developers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time. We build frontend portals, ranging from websites to internal client systems like planning tools, e-learning environments and data rooms.
What you tell your friends you do:
"My job is incredibly diverse! One week I’m building an interactive frontend portal, and the next I’m working on complex planning systems, learning environments or secure data rooms. For example, I recently worked on a digital platform for an educational publisher that helps kids learn words through play. It’s the perfect tool for teachers to track progress and manage learning materials. I was responsible for implementing the clean, responsive screens for teachers, students, and school administrators. And once the sprint is successfully completed…..it is time for a cold Wolfpack beer with the team!"
What does this mean for your day-to-day work?
As a Frontend Developer, you will work closely with fellow developers and project managers to deliver high quality solutions on time. You are the go-to person for frontend advice and technical guidance within your team.
Your daily focus will be:
- Concept to code: You translate creative concepts and complex ideas into clean, functional software solutions.
- Seamless integration: You map and seamlessly connect your code to the data structures designed by the backend developers.
- Brainstorm & solve: You design technical solutions to solve client challenges and team up with your colleagues to map out the best approach for new projects.
- Deepdive: You program complex UI/UX elements for both existing and brand-new projects.
- And of course: Develop, develop, develop!
Our Product Principle: Quality is not a coincidence
Great products don’t just happen. At Wolfpack, we have combined years of experience in UX, product development and engineering into a proven framework of over 160 checkpoints. As a Frontend Developer, you are the guard of 6 essential product principles:
- UX: You build interfaces that feel logical and intuitive from the very first click.
- Accessibility: Your screens are usable for everyone, regardless of ability or device.
- Performance: You deliver lightning-fast, smooth and highly responsive applications.
- Analytics: We track real user behavior to make targeted, continuous improvements. Your input helps validate the design and product choices.
- Ethics: We build transparent software.
- Consistency: You ensure a seamless, coherent experience across all screens, flows, and teams.
All of these resulting in faster adoption, fewer drop-offs, loyal users, and stunning interfaces that work flawlessly from day one.
Joining the pack:
Working at Wolfpack means working together with over fourty other talented, hungry wolves. You will work closely together with Wolfpack’s project managers, product owners and your fellow project wolves. Our three core pillars are talent, performance, and flexibility. We recruit IT talent early in their careers and give them the opportunity to develop, not only (in) software, but also in soft skills: both professionally and on a more personal level.
What the Pack needs from you:
- Experience: 3-6 years of proven experience in frontend development.
- Technical foundation: Strong experience and expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with at least one modern framework, such as Vue, React, or Angular, is required.
- A critical eye: You don’t just execute tasks, you use your experience and our analytics tools to constructively challenge designers and product owners.
- Team player: You collaborate exceptionally well with designers, understand their visual perspective and come up with user-friendly alternatives if an implementation gets too complex.
- Agile mindset: You are familiar and comfortable with daily stand-ups, refinements, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
- Bonus points: Experience with REST API web services, TypeScript, and building high-end responsive web interfaces is a major plus.
What we offer you:
At Wolfpack, we believe premium quality can only be delivered when the conditions are good. Therefore we provide an environment that empowers you to perform at your best, grow and enjoy your work
Along with an amazing kickstart and next step in your career, we offer:

- Top quality gear: The latest and greatest hardware and software tools to ensure your workflow is seamless and hyper-efficient.
