Our research and our platform provide the answer, and we are building the commercial engine to get that message in front of the people who need to hear it. ## Job Description We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to help develop our scalable, data-driven analytical dashboard. You'll focus on building responsive, user-friendly interfaces that deliver key insights to our global clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and getting things to work while at the same time being able to mentor (and lead) other engineers by way of example to achieve excellence in their work. As a Front-end Engineer in our engineering team, you will be directly contributing to developing various product applications and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. You will leverage our in-house design system to ensure consistency and high quality across all user interfaces. You will also have opportunities to contribute to the technologies, standards and architecture of the UI platform of the applications In addition to hands-on development, you will also lead and mentor a team of next-generation engineers, guiding them in best practices and modern front-end development techniques. Responsibilities and tasks: - Analyze, develop, implement, test, and maintain application components using relevant technologies and tools. - Collaborate with product managers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for feature development. - Take ownership of feature development from concept to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. - Work with the Support team to resolve issues raised by users and/or provide quick workarounds for significant issues. - Contribute to performance tuning of application code at different service levels and incorporate design changes to improve overall application performance. - Lead and mentor a team of junior developers. ## Qualifications What You Need to Succeed at BlueOptima: - 5 to 7 years of experience - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Proficiency in modern web development including HTML5, CSS, and Javascript frameworks (Angular, React, etc) - 2 years of experience developing web-based user interfaces. - Strong understanding of UI usability aspects and working with Single Page Web Application. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment and to learn new frameworks/stacks. - Self-directed and capable of quickly shipping code in a dynamic environment - Thorough understanding of RESTful web services and experience working with them. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills. - Strong in Java, Spring Boot, and Native SQL.
