Within this environment, the Fixed Income technology team partners closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver reliable, high-impact applications that support critical processes, streamline workflows, and enable continued innovation across the firm. What You'll Do - Architect, build, and support full-stack applications and platform components that power critical business processes across the firm. - Partner with business analysts, product management, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Develop and enhance application components across the stack, including user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and reporting solutions. - Design and deliver responsive, performant, and intuitive web experiences using modern UI technologies and sound UX practices. - Build and integrate backend services and RESTful APIs with enterprise systems and data sources to enable seamless connectivity. - Execute the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing enhancement. - Apply strong engineering discipline through maintainable design patterns, unit testing, mock-based testing, and adherence to development standards. - Troubleshoot and improve existing applications while contributing to continuous improvements across the application stack, architecture, and development practices. What You Bring - 8+ years of full-stack software development experience in enterprise environments. - Strong backend engineering experience in Python or C#/.NET Core, with the flexibility to work effectively in language-diverse teams. - Proven experience building modern UI applications with Angular, React, or comparable JavaScript frameworks. - Strong experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating distributed application services. - Deep relational database expertise, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with strong SQL and stored procedure development skills. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, software architecture, and maintainable application design. - Experience working with modern engineering tools and practices, including GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Agile delivery, DevOps, and SDLC methodologies. - Strong communication, collaboration, and ownership skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
