Job Description
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in full stack application development and production support.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, and frameworks such as Vue.js; 5+ years of experience with JS frameworks, Vue.js, and Kafka.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB); familiarity with Java and Spring Boot is a plus.
- Test-First mindset across all levels of application development including unit, functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.Critical thinker with the ability to break down complex technical requirements; familiarity with library/framework development is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; understanding of web development practices in an Agile methodology.
- Highly responsible, team-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic; developer-experience focused with an ability to identify and expand repeatable patterns.

WWT is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the IT Financial Operations team. Successful candidates will be passionate about web development and ready to make an impact by playing a critical role in architecting and implementing scalable web applications, components, and libraries that deliver value to our users. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team of Developers, Analysts, Architects, and Product Owners. Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain custom web applications and the supporting architecture for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with minimal oversight.
- Build reusable and modular components and libraries to ensure the scalability and maintainability of the codebase; identify repeatable patterns that can be expanded across teams.
- Ensure product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, and resolving problems to meet engineering guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in web development; learn and understand WWT’s business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests within agreed SLAs, performing root-cause analysis and driving permanent fixes.
- Architect and implement scalable web applications that support both internal delivery teams and external users across the globe.
- Write clean, testable code with a Test-First mindset across all levels including unit, functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.
- Be self-directed, collaborative, and innovative; think outside the box and present creative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Take complete ownership of your work with the goal of exceeding customer expectations and continuously improving development practices.
