Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, distributed backend systems using Java
• Develop and consume RESTful services
• Work with messaging platforms including SQS, SNS, and Kafka
• Design and build PCI-DSS, PII, and SOX-compliant systems
• Perform service performance profiling and optimization
• Work with databases including Cassandra, Couchbase, MongoDB, and Oracle
• Implement caching solutions using Redis, HazelCast, and Memcache
• Collaborate with fast-paced development teams to deliver high-quality software
• Contribute to CI/CD processes using Gradle, Maven, and Git

Requirements

• 6+ months of Apple project experience (mandatory)
• 8–10 years of proven software development experience
• Strong experience in object-oriented programming with Java
• In-depth experience in data structures, distributed systems, and storage
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful services
• In-depth experience with SQS, SNS, and Kafka messaging
• Experience in service performance profiling and optimization
• Experience designing PCI-DSS, PII, and SOX-compliant systems
• In-depth experience with Cassandra, Couchbase, MongoDB, and Oracle
• Familiarity with caching technologies: Redis, HazelCast, Memcache
• Familiarity with cloud technologies
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, Gradle, Maven, and Git
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
