Job Description
GardenOS is looking for a Purchase Engineer to manage sourcing and procurement of components for its lawn care machinery lines as the company scales toward full-scale manufacturing by late 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate with vendors for raw materials and components
- Evaluate suppliers on cost, quality, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with R&D and quality teams on component specifications
- Manage purchase orders and vendor relationships
- Track market pricing trends for key materials
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in procurement/purchase engineering, preferably in machinery manufacturing
- Strong vendor negotiation and supply chain skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field
