Ready to turn pixels into perfection and take the road less travelled? We are on the hunt for an innovative and highly motivated Digital Graphic Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. If you are fluent in HTML5, CSS, and Adobe Creative Suite—and have a passion for crafting scroll-stopping digital experiences for top media titles—your next big career adventure starts right here!
### Design Duties
- To create online display banners for websites in JPG, GIF, and HTML formats.
- To create websites using appropriate software applications, including HTML5.
- To keep up to date with the latest online design best practices, HTML, CSS, and associated styling languages and programs.
- To ensure all websites are sent to the QA team for testing before sending them to customers for approval.
- To assist other designers from time to time with additional design work when required to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assisting Marketing with ad hoc design work to meet deadlines on Marketing campaigns.
- Assisting HR with internal communication designs.
### Administrative & Operational Duties
- To ensure weekly productivity forms are completed and all KPIs are met.
- To follow the correct escalation processes and ensure all reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- To ensure all reasonable requests made by the Services Operations Manager or Performance Marketing Specialist are followed.
- To ensure all necessary productivity measurements are completed and analyzed, and to submit monthly performance results.
- To analyze errors on a weekly basis for the quality evaluation meeting.
- To liaise with other relevant departments should the need arise.
- To maintain systems and office hygiene, ensuring system housekeeping is completed on a weekly and monthly basis.
- To carry out any reasonable task which may be required from time to time.
### Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) / Matric or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital design.
- Minimum 1-2 years of CSS, HTML5, and WordPress experience.
- Must have experience working both independently and in a team.
- A tertiary qualification is advantageous.
### Knowledge & Skills
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Macromedia, Dream Weaver, and CMS (Alfresco).
- Proficiency in CSS and HTML languages, as well as Apple Mac.
- Knowledge of Azure is a plus point, and AI is an advantage.
- Articulate with an excellent command of the English language.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, solve problems, make decisions, and work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Create online display banners in JPG, GIF, and HTML formats.
