## Job Description
Key responsibilities & accountabilities:
1. Packaging Design: Create innovative, production-ready packaging designs that meet brand guidelines and market requirements.
2. Printing Knowledge: Apply advanced understanding of printing techniques (offset, digital, flexographic, etc.), ensuring high-quality output across diverse materials.
3. Material Adaptation: Customize designs for various packaging types (boxes, pouches, labels, etc.), taking into account material constraints and specifications.
4. Content Consistency: Utilize style guides and templates to deliver cohesive designs across multiple formats.
5. Customer Collaboration: Understanding customer briefing and Incorporating customer feedback efficiently, ensuring revisions are executed promptly for on-time delivery.
6. Quality Assurance: Verify designs for accuracy, ensuring proper resolution, color consistency, and print-readiness.
7. Mentorship: Mentor junior designers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
8. Process Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements in packaging and print design workflows to enhance efficiency and output quality.
## Qualifications
Qualifications: GD Art/BFA/MFA/BDS/MDS or any Equivalent Degree in Designing.
Desired Skills and Experience Required:
1. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in pre-press packaging
2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
3. Strong understanding of prepress and print production requirements, including color management, bleed, and die-line preparation.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and file-sharing platforms for documentation and collaboration.
5. Creative Problem Solving: Ability to resolve design challenges while adhering to client specifications and technical constraints.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring error-free print and packaging deliverables.
7. Efficient time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
8. Effective communication skills for working with global teams and clients.
9. Proactive learner, staying updated on the latest trends in packaging and printing technologies.
