Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and provide ongoing support for enterprise applications
• Work independently and take ownership of deliverables from end to end
• Proactively deliver solutions and identify improvements
• Understand and run existing Python applications and convert them to Java
• Communicate and collaborate effectively within a team environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, SQL, JavaScript, JUnit, Maven/Gradle
• Experience with Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Must be able to understand and convert existing Python applications to Java
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., VS Code, Amazon Kiro)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Nice to have: AWS, Angular/React, Kafka, Advanced SQL
• Eligible to work on H1B, USC, or EAD — local to McLean, VA required
