Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails
• Develop frontend components and interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Build and consume REST APIs across microservices
• Manage background jobs and async processing using Sidekiq
• Work with AWS SQS and EventBridge for event-driven workflows
• Deploy and manage applications using AWS ECS, Lambda, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows using Git
• Work with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server / RDBMS for data storage and queries
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and RDBMS concepts
• Experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, and EventBridge
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Sidekiq, AWS SQS, and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and Agile methodology
• Excellent communication skills and an active, strong LinkedIn profile
• Must be a local candidate available for an onsite interview
