We are seeking a talented and experienced Hardware system engineer (at least 5 years of relevant experience) to join our small and highly skilled team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in multidisciplinary systems that contains RF, hardware, and software and must have the passion to learn and integrate new technologies to our micro-services ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire life cycle of system design, from definition to release as a product, mass production and ongoing product support.
- Lead HW and RF system activities across hardware, software, and communication subsystems.
- Own and drive fast-paced end-to-end RF integration tasks to achieve project milestones and operational readiness.
- Execute RF verification, and validation activities at PCB, module level and full system level according to system requirements and test plans.
- Analyze system performance, RF metrics, impairments, and operational behavior to identify issues and recommend improvements.
- Support environmental, EMI/EMC, and qualification testing activities as required.
You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, and should have soft skills: strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization skills excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, as well as strong debugging skills and ability to work in tight schedule.
The ideal system engineer who we are looking for should have
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in RF systems development and integration.
- Solid understanding of RF fundamentals, wireless communications theory, and RF system architectures.
- Experience with RF link budget analysis and TX/RX chain calculations for overall system performance assessment.
- Hands-on experience with HW and RF laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Programming and scripting experience in Python or MATLAB – advantage.
- Experience in defense, wireless communications, or counter-UAS systems – advantage.Board design experience – advantage
