Healthcare Recruiter for Home Care Agency in New Jersey Job Title: Healthcare Recruiter Location: West Orange, Essex County NJ and Westfield, Union County NJ ABOUT US: Autris Healthcare is a growing provider of home care services, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As we continue to expand, we are currently seeking a dynamic Healthcare Recruiter to join our team and help us achieve our mission. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for recruiting qualified healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and administrative staff. The Health Recruiter works closely with department heads and hiring managers to meet staffing needs, ensuring that the organization’s recruitment efforts align with regulatory standards and organizational goals. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Manages all aspects of the healthcare recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating candidate selection. 2. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with job candidates, healthcare institutions, recruitment agencies, and educational facilities to build a network of qualified candidates. 3. Collaborates with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and provide recommendations for recruitment strategies. 4. Conducts screening and interviews of candidates to ensure alignment with organizational culture, qualifications, and compliance with healthcare regulations. 5. Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and industry-specific healthcare recruitment standards, including licensing, certifications, and background checks. 6. Coordinates with the HR team to manage onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all required documentation and training are completed prior to starting. 7. Implements effective recruitment strategies to target both active and passive job seekers, using job boards, social media, and industry events. 8. Assists with the development of job descriptions and ensures that recruitment efforts are aligned with the overall goals of the healthcare facility. 9. Develops and maintains recruitment reports, tracking candidate pipelines, and hiring statistics to ensure staffing goals are met. 10. Participates in job fairs, career events, and professional networking groups to increase the visibility of the organization and attract top talent. 11. Provides ongoing support to new hires, helping them transition smoothly into their roles and ensuring high retention rates. 12. Works closely with HR and management to address retention challenges and improve hiring processes based on feedback and data analysis. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. 2. At least three (1-3) years’ experiences in recruitment, preferably in the healthcare industry. 3. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements. 4. Proven experience in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for healthcare positions. 5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with candidates and internal stakeholders effectively. 6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously. 7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. 8. Demonstrates autonomy, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
