About the Role
Thomas Foods International is seeking a highly motivated HR Administrator to join our team at our Murray Bridge operations. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our HR department by facilitating various HR processes and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term parental leave contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist with accommodation administration, absenteeism process administration, visa compliance & traineeship data.
- Assist employees with queries and resolve issues.
- Help organise employee engagement activities, and team-building initiatives.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with employee representatives, employee associations and unions, and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar HR role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Understanding of the employee life cycle, including knowledge of employment law, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
