## Description
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
• Lead recruitment efforts for clinical and non-clinical roles across sites.
• Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs.
• Ensure onboarding processes are consistent, efficient, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
Employee Relations & Support
• Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers across locations.
• Conduct investigations, resolve workplace issues, and coach managers on performance and conduct.
• Promote a positive, accountable, and safe work environment.
Compliance & Policy Management
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
• Maintain and update policies, procedures, and handbooks across sites.
• Monitor HR metrics and support audit readiness for all locations.
Performance & Development
• Partner with leadership to manage performance reviews and corrective action plans.
• Identify training needs and support ongoing development initiatives.
• Support leadership on organizational planning and workforce optimization.
Compensation & Benefits
• Assist with compensation reviews and job classification.
• Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee education.
Workforce Administration
• Oversee HRIS accuracy, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Manage employee leave programs, accommodation requests, and attendance programs.
• Coordinate HR communications across multiple sites.
Additional Expectations
• Build strong working relationships with site leadership teams.
• Travel regularly to hospital and urgent care locations for visibility and support.
• UKG Ready (Ultimate Kronos Group) experience preferred.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
• Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
• PHR or SPHR
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands
• This position is primarily sedentary and requires the ability to:
• Sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation.
• Use hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
• Read printed materials and computer screens for prolonged periods.
• Communicate clearly through speech and hearing during meetings and phone calls.
• Occasional requirements include:
• Standing, walking short distances within the office.
• Lifting or carrying office items such as files or supplies (typically up to 10–20 lbs).
• Fine motor skills are necessary for keyboarding and handling small objects.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
