About the Role: The HR Representative PRN plays a critical role in supporting the human resources department by participating in various HR functions on an as-needed basis. This position ensures that employee, recruitment activities and administrative HR tasks are handled efficiently and in compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The role requires a proactive approach to resolving employee inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with onboarding processes. By providing flexible HR support, the HR Representative PRN helps maintain a positive work environment and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the HR team. This position is essential for addressing fluctuating HR needs and supporting organizational goals through timely and professional HR services. Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - At least 1 year of experience in a human resources support role or related administrative position with heavy customer service duties. - Basic knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a healthcare or large organizational environment. - Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS software. - Experience supporting employee relations and benefits administration. Responsibilities: - Assist with onboarding of applicants. - Enter background check information into system for reports. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner. - Maintain and update employee records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with company and legal standards. - Collaborate with HR team members to implement employee engagement initiatives and support compliance audits. Skills: The HR Representative PRN utilizes strong communication skills daily to interact effectively with employees and management, ensuring clear understanding of HR policies and procedures. Organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate employee records and managing recruitment logistics efficiently. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office enables the representative to streamline administrative tasks and support data management. Additionally, adaptability and time management skills are critical to successfully handle the flexible, as-needed nature of this role while contributing to the overall HR team’s objectives. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Days and the occasional evening and weekend when participating in employee events. Will work 16-20 hours per week. This is an hourly position eligible for, if applicable, shift differential and overtime pay.
