Job Description
Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for associate and HR questions on multiple topics, primarily benefits administration and HR or payroll services.
- Maintains accurate and confidential records for leave and accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and documentation of best practices.
- Acts as a liaison between the business and the third-party leave administrator (TPA), coordinating leave-related communications and advising managers, associates, and HR Business Partners on leave programs, including FMLA, paid parental leave, PTO, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, COBRA, and workers’ compensation.
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information and provide solutions, create HRIS system tickets and routes cases to internal teams.
- Educates customers using knowledge of available resources, benefits, and options.
- Delivers a variety of benefit/HR presentations, including new employee orientations, open enrollment and/or other trainings as needed.
- Handles escalated calls with minimal assistance.
- Must be aware of federal regulations to assure compliance of all plans.
- Ability to cross-train and learn other processes and functions welcomed.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or 2+ years in HR or benefits environment.
- Experience using an HRIS system, Microsoft Office, Teams, and other software.
- Experience answering a business telephone and responding to electronic customer inquiries.
- Ability to deliver presentations or lead training.
- Clear communication and prior experience handling complaints and upset individuals in a business setting.
- Detail and process oriented with excellent communication, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual language skills a plus.
- HR Certification preferred.
