Job Description

Humac Inc is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a 6-month hybrid contract in Richardson, TX. The candidate will work on large-scale data engineering pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and EMR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue and Lambda
  • Manage and optimize data warehousing solutions using Redshift
  • Process large datasets using AWS EMR
  • Write and optimize SQL queries
  • Develop data workflows using Python/PySpark and DAG-based orchestration

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and EMR
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Python/PySpark preferred
  • Familiarity with DAG-based orchestration preferred
  • Visa: Only GC/USC (GC before 1985)
