Job Description

An Agile team supporting revenue-focused applications is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer/Lead with 8+ years of experience. This is a Contract-to-Hire (W2) role, onsite 5 days/week in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH, working Monday–Friday EST hours starting at 8 AM. The role involves building and supporting Micro Frontend and Backend ecosystems, working closely with API contracts and frontend data models, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with OpenShift (OCP) deployment. Candidates must be open to full-time conversion; no visa sponsorship is available upon conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support Micro Frontend and Backend ecosystems
  • Work with API contracts and frontend data models
  • Write and maintain unit tests and optimize application performance
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
  • Deploy and configure applications on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
  • Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team, providing and receiving feedback

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Java Developer
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
  • Experience with Micro Frontend and Backend architectures
  • Strong knowledge of API contracts and frontend data models
  • Experience with Unit Testing and Performance Optimization
  • Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Deployment and configuration experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
  • Nice to have: JUnit, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Elastic, Kafka, ServiceNow, Jenkins
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Must be open to full-time conversion (no visa sponsorship available upon conversion)
