## Overview **We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Security Engineer I to join our team!** Under guidance from the Manager of Security and Compliance, this position is responsible for maintaining the security of the company’s data, systems, and network. This position will monitor events generated from various information security technologies, investigate and analyze those events, and take corrective action or escalate events as necessary. The Information Security Engineer I will support a suite of security operations technologies by performing configuration changes, system upgrades, and evaluating new technologies to implement. A.) in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical area from a four-year College or University; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum 1 year of related experience or training in Information Security. - Ability to work with confidential information, use discretion and best judgment. - Demonstrated ability to analyze, triage and remediate security incidents. - Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - Fundamental knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Network Layers, etc.) - Basic knowledge of security fundamentals (IDS/IPS, brute-force attack, privilege escalation, lateral movement, etc.) - Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal direct supervision. - Detailed, organized, and thorough with work product. **Preferred Skills/Qualifications** - Security+, CISSP, or similar security-related certification desirable. - Linux and Windows administration experience desirable. **Posting Deadline:** Open Until Filled **Citizens is a drug-free, Equal Opportunity Employer.
