As a Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
• Playing a leading role in the design and planning of systems infrastructure that focuses on security, availability, and performance.
• Operation and maintenance of Fortinet data centers infrastructure in APAC region.
• Focused on continuous improvement - always looking for improvement, automation and optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, both individually and as part of the broader team.
• Provide technical leadership, actively sharing knowledge across the team and supporting your peers.
• Document tasks, processes, areas of responsibility for configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assist with asset procurement, deployment, inventory management, and audits as required.
• Provide on-call support on rotational basis.
We Are Looking For:
An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:
• 2+ years of experience in data center operations or managing mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge in server virtualization (OpenShift, KVM, VMware, etc.).
• Strong knowledge in Linux server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Knowledge in storage administration (Dell, Pure, NetApp, etc.).
• Experience in Openstack administration or container management (Docker, K8s, etc.).
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including experience in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Experience in servers, network, and systems monitoring (Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, etc.).
• Basic knowledge in network administration and industry standards.
• Excellent ability to organize, multitask, work individually and in a team.
• Ability to communicate in both English and Japanese.
• Certification in RHCE is preferrable.
• Certification or familiarity in PMP or ITIL is preferrable.
• Experience in ISO27001 is preferrable.
