The Instructional Designer consults with business partners to help AGS employees close skill and performance gaps by creating targeted learning and performance solutions. They will determine the appropriate solution by conducting a need analysis and/or interpreting the needs analysis provided by a Learning & Development Manager. They work independently on high impact projects and assist the Sr. and Management team on larger initiatives. The Instructional Designer continuously improves, relentlessly pursues excellence, keeps project trackers, and records up to date, and collaborates with the Learning & Development Team and business partners. What You’ll Do: - In partnership with PM, conducts current state assessment and needs analysis to identify and solve for training gaps. - Collaborates with SMEs, stakeholders, and peers to design, create/develop, and evaluate content. - Creates and edits scripts, job aids, and storyboards. - Creates and regularly updates project plans, including managing details and keeping multiple tasks/projects on task. Regularly monitors and tracks progress on work projects. - Creates assessments that measure learning and/or performance outcomes. - Applies consistent approach to instructional design (ADDIE, SAM, etc.). - Adheres to industry best practices and standards when developing learning and performance solutions. - Maintains records in Content Resource Management system. - Solicit, accept, and provide constructive feedback ## Qualifications Experience: - Shift - EMEA Shift - BA Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related discipline. - Minimum 1 year experience in Learning Experience Design, Training and Development, Organizational Development, or related field working with team and leadership dynamics. - Experience in eLearning content development, interviewing SMEs. - Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
