Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Software Full Stack Developer to join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, cloud-native web applications for a 12+ month contract with possible extension or conversion. The role focuses on modern JavaScript, AWS serverless technologies, and AI-enabled solutions, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications
  • Develop reusable frontend components using React or Vue.js
  • Design and develop backend services and APIs using Node.js
  • Build and manage AWS Lambda functions and DynamoDB data models
  • Develop serverless, event-driven applications on AWS
  • Integrate and consume RESTful APIs using OpenAPI specifications
  • Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, SEO, and user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions
  • Support AI-powered workflows, including LLM integrations, embeddings, and intelligent search

Requirements

  • Strong experience with JavaScript, including Vanilla JavaScript
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS
  • Hands-on experience with React.js or Vue.js
  • Experience with Node.js and REST API development
  • Experience with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Serverless)
  • Experience integrating OpenAPI/RESTful APIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience
