Are you ready to join our team and make an impact? ##### Responsibilities Join TeamViewer as an Intern in our Software Engineering team and help us explore modern development practices enhanced by AI-assisted tools and workflows. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects, gain hands-on software development experience, and contribute to building and improving products used by customers around the world. - Design, develop, test, and maintain software functionality for our products and services - Work with technologies including Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C++, C#, and SQL - Collaborate closely with experienced Software Engineers in a dynamic Agile environment - Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, software quality, and engineering workflows - Contribute to implementing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across different components of our platform - Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and technical discussions - Work independently on solutions for specified requirements - Be responsible for adhering to time and quality specifications - Monitor technology trends and AI-assisted engineering practices and make proposals for improvement ##### Requirements - You are currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field - Mandatory internship is part of your curriculum and will be used for this position - Strong interest in software development, modern engineering practices, and AI-assisted development - Solid programming experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, or C# - Basic understanding of SQL and data-driven applications is a plus - Solid experience with version control systems such as Git - Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Clean Code, and software design fundamentals - Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently as well as within a team - Fluency in English - Nice to have: Experience with React and modern web development frameworks - Nice to have: Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar - Nice to have: Familiarity with backend development and REST APIs - Nice to have: Experience with Agile software development methodologies - Nice to have: Previous experience through personal projects, open-source contributions, student projects, or internships ##### What we offer - The contract location will be Göppingen, Germany - Make an impact!
