Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end development practices. This is a W2 contract role, onsite from Day 1 in Raleigh, NC. The end client will be disclosed during the L1 screening call. No C2C / no third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js
- Build reusable UI components and ensure responsive design across devices
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product owners
- Integrate REST APIs and optimize application performance
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement enhancements
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical improvements
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Front-End Development
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, and responsive web design
- Experience with Redux/Redux Toolkit, React Hooks, and Context API
- Good knowledge of REST APIs and API integration
- Experience with Git, GitHub/Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm, Yarn
- Experience with UI component libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, or Bootstrap
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Work authorization: H4 EAD, L2S, USC, or OPT EAD only; W2 only, no C2C / third-party vendors
