VML, part of WPP, supports WPP Enterprise Solutions by helping brands activate transformation through creativity and experience. ### The opportunity To work within a small team on an exciting fast paced account, for our client who is a leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the UK and Europe, working alongside the lead and Android developers within the account. ### What you’ll be doing • Build and maintain high‑quality, production‑ready iOS features and components, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with established architectural patterns and coding standards. • Participating in iOS development workstreams within an Agile squad, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand‑ups. • Drive quality through structured code reviews, unit and UI testing, accessibility improvements, and performance optimisation, staying current with evolving iOS frameworks, tools, and best practices. • Deliver end‑to‑end feature development - from initial concept and prototyping through to release, monitoring, iterative improvement, and long‑term maintenance of app modules. • Communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, providing updates, raising risks. ### What we want from you • Strong background in iOS Development and Swift • Strong knowledge of SwiftUI and UIKit • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features • Experience using code versioning tools like Git and GitLab • Experience with a range of third-party libraries and APIs • Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging • Experience and knowledge of multiple architecture patterns • Experience with asynchronous programming (Combine, async/await) • Working knowledge of dependency management (Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods) • Familiarity with unit testing and UI testing ### If you know some of this even better • Experience with Fastlane or other CI solutions • Understanding of accessibility standards • Experience writing technical documentation • Knowledge of App Store submission process, signing, and provisioning ### What we can offer you Alongside the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting brands around the world, we’ll also prioritise your career development and help you grow your skills.
