## Job Description
The IT Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and operational readiness of applications and infrastructure within an Agile and DevOps environment. Acting as a key link between Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Production Support teams, the role focuses on integrating operational requirements into solution design, enabling reliable production environments, driving automation, and promoting continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Production Readiness
- Contribute to the design of scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions.
- Ensure production and infrastructure requirements are considered throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise teams on technology choices, operational standards, and best practices.
DevOps & Infrastructure Management
- Integrate infrastructure, monitoring, security, and automation requirements into the Product Backlog.
- Support development teams in delivering secure and reliable solutions.
- Manage and maintain Production and Non-Production environments.
- Facilitate deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and environment readiness.
Service Reliability & Operations
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Support incident resolution and production releases while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Maintain operational documentation, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Promote DevOps practices and production best practices across teams.
- Collaborate with Production Support teams to improve service reliability and performance.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in processes, tools, and delivery practices.
## Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in IT Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting production-critical applications and infrastructure.
