Job Description
Jet2 Travel Technologies (J2TT) is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to join its Pune technology centre, which builds and supports e-commerce, data, and business intelligence platforms for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. The role sits within a data-focused quality engineering team responsible for validating ETL pipelines, data warehouse platforms, and cloud-based data workflows, working closely with development, data engineering, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute ETL and data warehouse test strategies for large-scale data pipelines
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and transformation logic across source and target systems using SQL
- Build and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks for data and application testing
- Test and validate data pipelines and workloads running on AWS and Snowflake
- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to identify, log, and resolve data quality defects
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test summary reports for stakeholders
Requirements
- 6-10 years of overall test engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with DWH (Data Warehouse) Testing
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation
- Experience with Python for test automation
- Working experience with AWS
- Working experience with Snowflake
