Job Description

J&M Group is hiring a Front-End Developer with strong Angular expertise to join a hybrid team in Brampton, ON. The role involves building and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications within a micro-frontend architecture, working closely with cross-functional teams on modern JavaScript/TypeScript-based solutions integrated with headless CMS and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular (v12+) and TypeScript
  • Implement state management using NgRx and reactive patterns with RxJS
  • Integrate REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints into front-end applications
  • Contribute to and maintain micro-frontend architecture
  • Work with Contentful CMS to manage and render content
  • Implement analytics tracking using Adobe Analytics
  • Write unit and integration tests using Jasmine, Karma, and Jest
  • Ensure accessibility compliance to WCAG 2.1 AA standards
  • Collaborate using Git and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD
  • Track and manage work using JIRA

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Angular (v12+), TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with NgRx and RxJS for state and reactive management
  • Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL
  • Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and SCSS/CSS3
  • Experience with Contentful CMS and Adobe Analytics
  • Testing experience with Jasmine, Karma, and Jest
  • Familiarity with Angular CLI, Git, Azure DevOps, and JIRA
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
  • Comfortable using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor
  • Eligible to work in Canada and able to pass a background check
