### Job Summary We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in SQL, Python, cloud technologies, and ETL concepts, with a passion for working with large datasets and modern data platforms. ### Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines. - Build, optimize, and troubleshoot data workflows. - Extract, transform, and load data from multiple structured and unstructured sources. - Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. - Monitor data pipelines and resolve production issues. - Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are followed. - Work with cloud-based data platforms and storage services. - Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI Developers, and business stakeholders. - Support data warehouse and data lake implementations. - Participate in code reviews and follow CI/CD best practices. - Document technical designs, workflows, and operational procedures. ### Required Skills - 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development. - Strong SQL skills. - Good programming experience in Python. - Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration concepts. - Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP). - Understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts. - Familiarity with Git and version control. - Basic understanding of REST APIs and data ingestion techniques. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. ### Preferred Skills - Experience with Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or GCP Dataflow. - Exposure to Databricks or Apache Spark. - Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming technologies. - Experience with Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery, or Redshift. - Understanding of Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools. - Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau. - Basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
