## Description UNDERSTANDING The Lead Software Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software solutions to enhance our manufacturing processes and overall business operations. We know that companies with a strong culture & a higher purpose perform better in the long run. • Own It • Hustle and Refuse to Settle • Love People • Act for the Greater Good • Find a way SCOPE • Reports to the CIO • Collaborates with most other departments to support the business RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the development and implementation of software solutions to support manufacturing operations. - Design, develop, and maintain APis to integrate various systems and applications. - Utilize JavaScript and SQL to build and optimize web applications and databases. - Develop and customize ERP systems to meet the specific needs of our manufacturing processes. - Implement new systems and conduct UAT. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. - Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge. - Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Must be able to speak, read and write in English. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on manufacturing. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and SQL - Extensive experience with ERP customization and implementation - Extensive experience with API design and development. - Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of developers. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and collaboration skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot is a plus. EDUCATION - Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .
