Job Description

Due to project growth, the position of Lead CAD/BIM Revit Engineer (non-infra) has become available to join our successful team on the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Framework in Peterborough The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water’s region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure. Provide technical leadership, coordination, and quality assurance of Revit-based Non-Infra models on SPA projects. Lead standards, workflows, digital governance, and model maturity assurance in alignment with ISO 19650 and SPA digital delivery requirements. Mentor BIM Engineers and champion consistent, efficient modelling across disciplines using BIM applications Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks. Work within the Programme Common Data Environments (CDE) consisting of Autodesk Forma, SharePoint, and the SPA GIS platform. This role will be fully remote. Your unique skills and experiences could be exactly what we need. #LI-KP1 ### Responsibilities - Lead the development of MEP, process, civils Non-Infra, and structural Revit models. - Approve model geometry, metadata, and model maturity progression. - Create and maintain Revit families, schedules, templates, and discipline libraries. - Conduct technical reviews on models produced by others before issue. - Lead Non-Infra modelling work allocation and planning across multiple work packages. - Own and maintain Non-Infra Revit modelling procedures, ensuring compliance across the team. - Manage Revit model QA/QC, including model audits, clash resolution, and quality gates. - Proactively identify modelling risks and escalate/mitigate early. - Lead the integration of Safety in Design (SiD) information within Revit models. - Ensure models include maintenance zones, hazard tagging, temporary works information where applicable. - Guide others on embedding H&S digitally. - Lead cross-discipline coordination workshops for Non-Infra assets. - Act as the key liaison between process, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil Non-Infra designers and BIM teams. - Provide leadership for the Non-Infra Revit working group - Lead digital innovation initiatives (automation, parametric modelling, Dynamo scripts). - Own the roadmap for advancing Revit capability across the programme. - Provide training, coaching and continuous improvement for Revit users. Desirable - Contributes to developing and delivering the project programme. - Actively develops solutions to reduce carbon and increase natural capital ### Qualifications - Demonstrable experience leading Revit modelling on complex water/wastewater or process engineering projects. - Strong knowledge of Revit MEP, Revit Structures, Process Plant modelling, and multi-disciplinary interfaces. - Proficiency in model federation, clash detection, and model validation. - Experience in progressive assurance and digital delivery compliance. - Ability to train/mentor junior BIM Engineers - Experience producing/maintaining Revit standards, templates, symbols, families, shared parameter files. Desirable - Professional registration or working towards IEng or CEng. - Experience with Forma (Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, Reviews).
