Key Responsibilities This includes but are not limited to: - Build dynamic web-based LG and Samsung Smart TV applications with JavaScript frameworks. - Have in-depth knowledge of design and architectural patterns and know when to apply them. - Have strong communication skills in order to bounce ideas and solutions off of peers and know when to ask for help. - Devise Smart TV application development methodologies, testing practices, tools and implementation. - Create prototypes of new ideas and explore new technologies at the forefront of Smart TV platforms. Requirements This includes but are not limited to: - 5+ years of software development in applicable technologies OR 2+ years of working specifically on set-top or OTT platforms. - Previous experience with LG and Samsung Smart TV development - Proficient at generating code in existing codebases and from scratch. - Experience building solutions that utilize NoSQL databases and distributed caching technologies. - Experience deploying and scaling within a cloud infrastructure.
