This role is for a AVP Developer within the Liquid Financing RAD team primarily working across mutiple systems supporting the trading desks within the Barclays Liquid Financing division in the APAC region. This business is at the forefront of industry leading innovative client focused solutions using big data and financial modelling. As such the candidate will be required to convert evolving business and trade ideas into tactical medium-term solutions. The ideal candidate will have securities industry experience within IT infrastructure, worked in a fast pace iterative manner, worked closely with front office quantitative analytics and IT teams. The job entails putting together robust proof of concepts using Python, SQL or Excel VBA. Key Accountabilities - The successful candidate is expected to build strong partnership with global stakeholders (includes traders, product management, middle office, and other stakeholders across all regions) to implement robust time to market solutions. - The developer shall work within the local Liquid Financing RAD team focusing on various aspects of the projects leading to the successful implementation and improvements of the business critical tasks and risk management systems. They will form part of the global Liquid Financing RAD team. - The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, have a broad knowledge of financial instruments including financial asset pricing. They will have a robust IT implementation approach to build solutions for all end users within Equity Finance.
