# Machine Learning Engineer (Python & Databricks)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Model: Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Contract Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with 8–10 years of experience to join an innovative team focused on renewable energy. In this role, you will develop and enhance Machine Learning models that forecast energy production for wind farms and photovoltaic plants, helping drive smarter and more sustainable energy solutions.
### Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Machine Learning models for renewable energy production forecasting.
- Build scalable data pipelines and analytical solutions using Python and Databricks.
- Work with large datasets using modern Big Data technologies.
- Analyze complex datasets and translate insights into predictive models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve model accuracy and business outcomes.
- Monitor, validate, and continuously improve model performance.
- Contribute to the design of scalable data and machine learning architectures.
- Document technical solutions and support deployment into production environments.
### Required Skills
- 8–10 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning and predictive analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Experience working with Big Data architectures and Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data synthesis skills.
- Experience developing scalable machine learning solutions in production environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of French and Dutch is an advantage.
