We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their Commercial team. This newly established role will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and performance insights that drive strategic decision-making. ## Job Description You will contribute to board-level reporting, develop robust activity-based forecasts, and provide in-depth financial analysis to support operational performance and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives on turning data into meaningful insights and adding real value to the business. Leading a small team responsible for accounts activities, a key aspect of this role is the active participation in the Operational Leadership Group, where you will collaborate across all areas of the business to support operational decision-making. You will bring a strong commercial perspective, providing clear financial insights that help guide operational decisions while supporting the effective day-to-day performance of the organisation. Key responsibilities include: - Deliver board-level financial reporting, including clear analysis of performance, trends, and variances - Develop and maintain activity-based forecasts, supporting budgeting and forward planning - Provide insightful financial analysis, modelling, and pricing support to inform operational decision-making - Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial data and reporting - Lead and coordinate finance team activities, driving service delivery, performance, and continuous improvement - Support operational excellence through strong financial processes and quality assurance ## Qualifications We are looking for someone with: - A tertiary qualification in an accounting, finance or related discipline - Great people skills; empathy; and easily able to build connections and relationships - Experience working in a service delivery industry - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Experience in management accounting, financial reporting and/or financial analysis with the ability to translate financial data into clear insights - Excellent communication, organisational skills and a commitment to detail and data integrity. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll be part of the Operational Leadership Group (OLG), actively contributing to day-to-day operational activities and collaborating across departments to drive service excellence.
