Job Description
MCGBS is hiring a Software Architect / Senior Developer for a client team in Perth. The role combines hands-on backend and frontend development with architectural ownership, focusing on scalable message-driven systems and modern AI-assisted development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services using C# and .NET Core
- Develop front-end applications using React and TypeScript
- Design and document APIs using Swagger and AsyncAPI
- Implement message-driven architectures using RabbitMQ
- Leverage AI development tools such as Claude Code or Codex to accelerate delivery
- Contribute to UI/UX design decisions in partnership with design and product teams
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development / architecture experience
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, React, and TypeScript
- Experience with API management using Swagger / AsyncAPI
- Hands-on C# development experience with RabbitMQ messaging
- Advanced, practical experience using AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex)
- Strong appreciation of UI/UX design concepts
