Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions): - Develop detailed piping designs, specifications, and layouts using advanced engineering software and tools. - Conduct stress analysis and flexibility evaluations to ensure the integrity of piping systems under various conditions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, civil, and electrical engineers, to integrate piping designs with other project components. - Review and approve vendor drawings and documentation to ensure adherence to project requirements. - Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that arise. - Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment activities to achieve project milestones on time and within budget. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field. - Previous experience in piping design and engineering in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, or power generation preferred, not required. - Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and pipe stress analysis tools (e.g., CAESAR II, ANSYS). - Strong understanding of relevant piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
