Job Description
MegaScale is a premier IT solutions and services provider based in Surat, Gujarat, offering comprehensive e-commerce and software development services globally. We are looking for a Shopify Developer to join our on-site team in Surat. You will be responsible for building and customizing Shopify stores for our diverse client base, working closely with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your Shopify expertise in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts and themes
- Build custom Shopify apps and integrations using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Integrate third-party tools and APIs (payment gateways, shipping, CRM, etc.)
- Optimize Shopify stores for performance, speed, and SEO
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement e-commerce strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on live Shopify stores
- Manage and configure Shopify apps, product listings, collections, and metafields
- Stay current with Shopify platform updates, new APIs, and e-commerce trends
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months of hands-on experience with Shopify development
- Proficiency in Liquid templating language
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Shopify theme customization and Shopify CLI
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL)
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce best practices and UX
- Ability to work on-site at Surat office
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
