Job Description

MetrixIT Solutions is hiring an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with React for a contract engagement supporting a client project. This onsite role spans multiple work locations (Irving TX, Tampa FL, and New Jersey) and requires a seasoned engineer who can own both front-end and back-end delivery, work within modern cloud-native and microservices architectures, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle in an Agile team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications
  • Build intuitive user interfaces using React, HTML5, and CSS
  • Develop server-side logic and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
  • Design and implement high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Work within Microservices, Event-Driven, and Cloud-Native architectures
  • Write and maintain SQL/PL-SQL against Oracle databases
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven/Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift
  • Automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality
  • Collaborate within Agile teams using JIRA for project tracking
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering workflows

Requirements

  • 10+ years of total software development experience
  • Minimum 8 years specializing in Java, React, Spring Boot, and Oracle
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Principles in Java
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for development workflows
  • Proficiency in Microservices, REST, and GraphQL implementations
  • Solid front-end skills in React, HTML5, and CSS
  • Back-end development experience in Java, Python, or similar
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle RDBMS
  • Experience with CI/CD tools: Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift
  • AWS experience is a strong plus
  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
  • Experience with GitHub Enterprise for version control
