MicroStrategy Developer (Contract) Location: Dubai, UAE (On-site) Contract Duration: Initial 1-month contract (with the possibility of extension based on project requirements) Employment Type: Full-time Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced MicroStrategy Developer to join a client project based in Dubai. This is an initial one-month contract, with the potential for extension depending on project needs and performance. The successful candidate will work full-time at the client's premises in Dubai and will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, and scorecards based on business requirements. - Create interactive and user-friendly dashboards with a strong focus on UX/UI and data visualization best practices. - Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data retrieval processes to support reporting requirements. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions. - Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and efficient data integration. - Optimize dashboard and report performance for large datasets. - Support deployment, documentation, and ongoing enhancements of BI solutions. - Provide technical support and resolve issues related to MicroStrategy reports and dashboards. - Follow established development standards, governance, and best practices. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a MicroStrategy Developer in enterprise environments. - Strong hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Dashboard Development and Reporting (mandatory). - Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and data modeling. - Experience designing intuitive and visually appealing data visualizations and dashboards (UX/UI). - Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases. - Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries. - Good understanding of ETL processes and data integration concepts. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
