This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 4+ years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time We are looking for a Modem Bus Interconnect Verification Engineer to join our SoC verification team and contribute to the verification of modem bus interconnects in complex System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AMBA protocols and experience verifying high-performance bus architectures, ensuring functional correctness, protocol compliance, and overall system reliability. You will work closely with design, architecture, and verification teams to develop robust verification environments, debug complex protocol issues, and support successful silicon validation. ### Key Responsibilities - Verify modem bus interconnect functionality across complex SoC designs. - Develop and execute functional verification plans for bus interconnect components and subsystems. - Validate protocol compliance and data integrity across AMBA-based interconnects. - Collaborate with RTL designers, architects, and verification engineers to understand design specifications and verification requirements. - Debug simulation failures, protocol violations, and functional issues using waveform analysis and verification tools. - Develop and maintain reusable verification components and test scenarios. - Perform regression testing and contribute to verification closure through functional coverage analysis. - Identify root causes of verification failures and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. - Contribute to verification automation and continuous improvement initiatives. ### Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Experience in SoC or Modem Verification with emphasis on bus interconnect verification. - Strong understanding of AMBA protocols, including AXI, AHB, and APB. - Experience with SystemVerilog and modern functional verification methodologies. - Strong debugging and analytical skills for resolving protocol and functional issues. - Good communication and collaboration skills. ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Python or Perl scripting for verification automation. - Understanding of UPF (Unified Power Format) and power-aware verification concepts. - Exposure to performance verification and system-level performance analysis. - Familiarity with industry-standard simulation and waveform debugging tools. ### Must-Have Skills - Modem Bus Interconnect Verification - AMBA Protocols - SystemVerilog - SoC Verification - Functional Verification - Protocol Debugging ### Good-to-Have Skills - Python - Perl - UPF (Unified Power Format) - Performance Verification - Verification Automation - Waveform Debugging
