Job Description

Nexiva Inc is hiring an experienced Systems Administrator for an onsite role in Tallahassee, Florida, supporting enterprise Windows Server infrastructure, IIS environments, and AWS cloud operations. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in systems operations, network administration, and infrastructure support, with candidates expected to work face-to-face with the team five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments
  • Manage and support IIS web server infrastructure
  • Administer AWS cloud resources and services
  • Handle network administration tasks including TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS, and NTFS permissions
  • Support infrastructure operations, systems maintenance, and information systems engineering initiatives
  • Assist with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform administration when needed
  • Support API management, middleware, and batch job services
  • Utilize IT service automation tools for operational efficiency

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of systems administration experience
  • Strong Windows Server administration across 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022
  • IIS administration experience
  • 2-3+ years of AWS cloud administration experience
  • Network administration skills including TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS, and NTFS permissions
  • Background in infrastructure, systems operations, and information systems engineering
  • Must be a local candidate based in Florida
  • Must be available for face-to-face/in-person interview
  • No H1B visa sponsorship available
