Job Title: OpenShift Platform Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually
Experience Required: 6+ years

## OpenShift Platform Engineer
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Job Type: Full-time (Direct W2)
### Job Summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, automation, and CI/CD.
### Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
- Automate cluster provisioning and lifecycle using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Argo CD).
- Configure networking, storage, security, and multi-tenant environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
- Implement monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, and platform security.
- Collaborate with development teams and mentor junior engineers.
### Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of container platform experience, including 3+ years with Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and container networking.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, scripting (Bash, Python, or Go), and monitoring tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
### Preferred Qualifications
- Red Hat OpenShift certification.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd), GitOps, and regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
