Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure. As a member of the IT organization, assist with the design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific function area. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise Data Warehouse solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Database, and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate has strong experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimizing database performance, developing reusable integration frameworks, and partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. This role requires excellent analytical skills, hands-on Oracle database expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment. ### Responsibilities ## Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). - Develop reusable mappings, load plans, workflows, and automation frameworks. - Design and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views. - Implement data quality, auditing, exception handling, error recovery, and logging frameworks. - Optimize ETL jobs, SQL queries, indexing, and partitioning strategies for high performance. - Build and maintain scalable data warehouse schemas and validate data integrity. - Collaborate with business users to convert business requirements into technical specifications. - Manage code using Git and participate in deployment, testing, and production support activities. ## Qualifications & Skills ### Mandatory - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience) - 4+ years of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development experience - End-to-end Data Warehouse implementation experience - Oracle SQL and PL/SQL expertise - ETL / ELT architecture and implementation - ODI Repositories, Designer, Operator, Agents, Load Plans - Knowledge Modules (KM) customization - Performance tuning - Data modelling - Oracle Database development - Git version control - Strong communication skills - Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions ### Good-to-Have - Python scripting - Shell scripting - AI / Generative AI awareness - AI-assisted Data Engineering tools - Financial Services domain experience - Experience working in global enterprise environments ## Self-Assessment Questions - Do I have 4+ years of hands-on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development experience? - Have I independently delivered end-to-end Data Warehouse implementations? - Am I comfortable developing advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions? - Have I optimized ETL workflows for performance and scalability? - Can I translate business requirements into technical ETL designs with minimal supervision? ### Qualifications Minimum Job Qualifications Education and/or Experience: 5 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, data science, computer science, or information systems OR Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, AND 1 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, data science, computer science, or information systems Job Skills: Applied Algorithm Engineering Demonstrated skill in designing, analyzing, and optimizing algorithms for efficiency and scalability.
