Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade Artificial Intelligence solutions using technologies from Meta, AWS, and Microsoft AI ecosystems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, prompt engineering, vector databases, and cloud-native AI services. This is a hybrid contract role based in Chicago, IL, requiring recent banking-client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions
  • Build and integrate Large Language Model (LLM) based applications
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
  • Develop and orchestrate AI agents
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize model outputs
  • Work with vector databases for semantic search and retrieval
  • Utilize cloud-native AI services across AWS and Microsoft Azure

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Recent banking client experience required
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and AI agents
  • Experience with Meta, AWS, and Microsoft AI ecosystems
  • Strong prompt engineering skills
  • Experience with vector databases
  • Must be local to Chicago, IL
  • Work authorization: USC, GC, H4, or L2 EAD only
